
Katie Andrews
Executive Director
Katie joined the Missouri Mental Health Foundation in 2021 as the Associate Director/Marketing Coordinator. Previously, she was with the Department of Mental Health for 10 years frequently working alongside the Foundation on various projects and events including establishing and coordinating the Real Voices, Real Choices Conference. During her tenure at DMH, she helped improve access for Missourians to behavioral healthcare, conducted agency reviews to ensure service delivery systems met the standards and program quality expected of the State of Missouri, and connected justice-involved individuals to specialized programs to reduce (re)incarceration and increase public safety. Katie graduated from Florida State University with a Master of Social Work. She currently lives in Joplin with her fiancé, daughter, and two dogs. When she isn’t keeping busy with her daughter’s softball games, you can find her spending time with her family or reading a book.

Tynesha D. Hardin
Community Engagement Coordinator
Tynesha joined the Missouri Mental Health Foundation in February of 2022. Tynesha graduated from Columbia College with a Bachelor of Science in Management and Business Administration, with a minor in Marketing—Magna Cum Laude. Tynesha specializes in internal and external engagement, building and maintaining relationships, marketing, social media, and diversity & inclusion. Tynesha has attended conferences and outreach events around the State of Missouri as an exhibitor during her time with the State of Missouri and as a volunteer for non-profit organizations. An advocate for many things, Tynesha is passionate about everything she does in her personal and professional life. She currently lives in Jefferson City where she’s lived most of her life. When she is not working, Tynesha enjoys spending time with family, going fishing, watching films, and playing her violin—among other instruments.

Sheila Kliethermes
Administrative Assistant
Sheila joined the Missouri Mental Health Foundation in 2015 as the Marketing and Events Coordinator. Prior to the Foundation, she was employed by the Missouri Department of Mental Health for 37 years, holding several positions—but most recently, she worked as a Telecommunications Analyst. Sheila was instrumental in establishing a social media platform for the Foundation as well as increasing a network of partners for the Foundation through exhibiting, sharing resources, sponsorship commitments and all other activities through which the Foundation is involved. Outside of working for the State and the Foundation, Sheila is currently the bookkeeper for her husband’s business, Kliethermes Construction and Plumbing, LLC, for the last 35 years and now her son’s business, Timberline Construction Services, LLC, for the last 4 years. She currently holds the position of Administrative Assistant for the Foundation. She lives in Westphalia on 36 acres, where she finds peace and serenity with her husband of 45 years. She has 3 daughters, 1 son, and 4 grandchildren who are the light of her life!
