LGBTQ+: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning Plus.

The LGBTQ+ community represents a diverse group of identities and encompasses any gender identities and sexual orientations that fall outside of the scope of heterosexual norms. Like all individuals, members of the LGBTQ+ community also identify with other communities (i.e., race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, socioeconomic class, and more). This creates even more diversity in an already diverse community.

While there is Pride in being a part of this community, it also has its own set of challenges—and they all affect your mental health.
