Real Voices–Real Choices Consumer Conference: On-Site Conference CANCELED

RVRC Family, we sincerely hope this message finds everyone safe and healthy!

As I’m sure you know, our number one priority is to protect you, your families, and your caregivers.  We have been listening closely and following the guidance of local, state, and national health officials and government leadership.  In light of all this, we have made the very difficult decision and CANCELED the in-person 2020 Real Voices–Real Choices Conference. We did not enter this decision lightly or without a lot of thought and discussion. We share your disappointment that we will not be able to physically come together.

Instead of the in-person conference, we will be offering Virtual Presentations and Activities the Week of August 30, 2020, on the RVRC Facebook page and websites (see links below). The Planning Committee will be working over the next few months to structure these activities and we will share more detailed information later. If you have a Facebook account, please be sure you like the RVRC page and share it with your friends. Those who do not have a Facebook account will still be able to access the virtual event through the RVRC websites listed below.

In the meantime, here is a tentative Overview of Virtual Activities that may be offered:

Scholarship applicants: There will be no scholarships awarded this year. Please consider re-applying again next year.

Sponsors and exhibitors: If you have agreed to sponsor the 2020 RVRC Conference or registered to be an exhibitor, we will be contacting you soon with options.

Presenters: If you submitted an application to present at the 2020 RVRC Conference, we will still be selecting some for the virtual event. Conference staff will be in contact with you if your proposal is selected.

Everyone, please know you are in our thoughts each day and we are with you in spirit. Look for more information about Virtual RVRC event coming soon.
