2020 marked the 12th year for the RVRC Consumer Conference and it was another tremendous success. Although we had to cancel the in-person event due to concerns related to COVID-19, we were able to offer the very FIRST virtual consumer conference!
Attendees were able to view all conference activities online via various platforms (DMH and MMHF websites, Facebook, and YouTube) at absolutely NO CHARGE. The event was chalked full of a mixture of both live and recorded virtual sessions (16 to be exact) on a variety of topics and ended with the much anticipated prize give away finale.
Although we missed seeing everyone and being able to connect with our RVRC family in-person, the virtual event was a huge hit for those who participated. Here are some of the statistics: 382 attendees RSVP with many more tuning in each day who did not RSVP; approximately 145-150 people received Continuing Education Unit (CEU) certificates; overall event ratings based on completed post event surveys: 57.8% strongly liked, 28.9% liked, 11.1% neutral, and 2.2% dislike.
Thank you to everyone who participated and actively engaged with our presenters and conference staff all week long! Work now begins for the 2021 conference and we are so excited for what the future holds!!
